What EntryNodes is good at
Most access control systems are built around the hardware and expect the customer to adapt their processes to what the system supports. EntryNodes works the other way: the platform is designed to fit around your existing workflows and membership logic. A new member signs up and gains access to their assigned areas immediately, without manual steps in a separate system. Access rights can be scoped by location, sublocation, time of day, membership tier, visit count, or any combination of these. For multi-site operators a tiered administration model gives central oversight of all sites while keeping each location's view limited to its own data. The EntryNodes team has completed more than 50 integrations with ERP and CRM systems over the past decade, and most of these have been completed without requiring involvement from other system vendors.
Standalone or integrated
EntryNodes can be deployed in two ways. The first is as a gateway that connects your existing member management or ERP system to physical access devices, synchronising access rights in real time without replacing the system you already use. The second is as a complete standalone platform using the EntryNodes ACM module, which handles member profiles, access products, business hours, exception dates and audit logs in one place. For gym operators and facility managers who want to avoid paying for a separate membership system, the ACM module covers everything needed to run the operation directly.
Access logic & configuration
Access rights are defined through Access Products, which describe where access is valid, how long it lasts, and when it applies. Each member is assigned one or more access products, and the platform enforces those rules at every entry point in real time. Business hours and exception dates are configurable per location, covering public holidays, special events and split-shift schedules. A single member can hold different access rights across different locations and facilities, which handles common scenarios like gym-only versus gym-and-pool membership tiers within the same account.
Integration & compatibility
API-first architecture with webhook support for integration with any ERP, CRM or membership platform. Compatible with all major access control hardware through dry contact and RS485. Reader-agnostic: works with RFID, QR code, NFC, Bluetooth, PIN or any combination, and existing readers can be retained where compatible. All past configuration changes are stored and traceable, which simplifies auditing and multi-site management.
Visibility & reporting
Real-time access logs show who entered where and when across all locations. Audit logs flag anomalies such as credential misuse or multiple rapid swipes. The dashboard gives an at-a-glance view of active members, location status and access events. For operators managing multiple sites, the tiered administration model means central staff can see across all locations while site-level staff see only their own.
Scalability & support
Unlimited locations and users on a single account. The platform is built for operators who start with one site and expand, without needing to migrate to a different system at any point.
