Description
What the GT-60 is good at
A 450 mm body length means the GT-60 fits where longer gates do not, without reducing the passage width or slowing throughput. Arm height reaches up to 1800 mm for installations where a higher physical barrier matters, and the passage width of up to 1200 mm covers accessibility and wide-luggage requirements in a single lane. Because the sensor field is compressed into a shorter body, the gate works best in supervised entrances or sites where tailgating is not a high-frequency problem. For unmanned entrances with a determined tailgating risk, the longer GT-70 body gives the control system more space to distinguish between two people.
Security & safety
Tailgating sensitivity is adjustable, from a warning alert through to forced gate closure, so the response can be matched to the visitor profile of the site. Anti-pinch protection reverses the arm immediately on contact at any point in the stroke. On power cut or fire alarm the arms open automatically and stay open until the condition clears. For exit-side traffic, a push button or microwave motion sensor is recommended over infrared sensors to keep flow predictable and reduce false triggers.
User experience
At 160 mm wide the gate body takes up little visual space in the entrance. Tri-colour LED strips run the full height of the unit, showing blue on standby, green on an authorised pass and red on rejection or alarm, readable from across a lobby. The 600 mm standard passage fits a person with bags, a helmet or a bicycle without needing to route them elsewhere. Arms open automatically on power cut, so there is no bottleneck when it matters most.
Integration & customisation
Connects to any access control system over dry contact or RS485. Reader mounts fit Mifare, EM, BLE, QR and biometric modules in any combination, so the credential layer can be decided independently of the gate hardware. Available in virtually any RAL powder coat colour, and tempered glass arms can carry a printed logo or branding. Arm glass width and height are configurable, and waterproof outdoor versions are available on request.
Durability & environment
IP54 as standard, upgradeable to IP65 for outdoor or high-cleaning environments. Rated for -20 to +55 degrees Celsius and up to 95 percent humidity non-condensing, which covers pool-side corridors and facilities that clean with chemicals daily. 15-million-cycle mechanical service life.
Service & support
The mechanism is modular and the highest-wear parts are accessible without dismantling the unit. Spare parts are inexpensive and stocked locally in each market we operate in, covering virtually every component. Built-in error codes identify the fault before a technician arrives on site. Maintenance agreements and technical support in Finnish, Swedish, English and Spanish available on request.
