Fudan tags are made to match NXP's Mifare 1k Classic tag. The only difference between the two tags is the manufacturer. From the end user's point of view, there is no difference. The two tags even work simultaneously on the same system without any extra conflation. Fudan does not suffer from production challenges in the same way as NXP semiconductors. Consequently, availability has been significantly better in recent years. Fudan tags have been widely used, especially in Central Europe, and have been proven to work just as well as Mifare 1k Classic.
